"I've been training at Control for about a month now and absolutely recommend this gym to anyone looking to get into jiu jitsu. Wade fosters a welcoming and inclusive culture for anyone looking to get into the sport—whatever your background may be. I learn something new every class I attend, which means a lot to me coming from having zero experience prior to signing up. Coaches Keylan and Larissa encourage me to build on my skills and roll with confidence, taking time to clarify and demonstrate whatever I need extra help with. As do my teammates—everyone, no matter the belt level, has the same goal of improvement over time and wants to facilitate each other's growth and continued learning. If you're looking for a gym that challenges you while genuinely supporting your progress, this is the place to be."

"I've been attending Control for just under a month now, and as someone who's never trained in any type of combat sport before, I've been really impressed. The facility is great, the coaches are very involved and welcoming, and the overall vibe is just super friendly and inviting. It's definitely challenging (as any new thing should be), but from the start everyone has been helpful and supportive, which makes jumping into something like this a lot easier. Being 47 and completely new to this, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's honestly been a lot of fun and I've enjoyed every minute of it so far. I'd recommend Control to anyone—no matter your age or experience level—who's looking for a great place to train in a supportive environment."

"Excellent experience. Clean facilities and top notch instruction. Very welcoming atmosphere and Mr Wade is a super nice fellow. Watched the kids class and they really work with them and keep them focused and moving. Don't hesitate to come here and train. Edgard taught the adult class and he is an excellent black belt that watched us individually and made necessary corrections to our techniques. Very attentive to the students. You won't find a better place to learn high level jiu jitsu"

"I've been a part of control for over two years and will have to stop due to moving. For someone who had no coordination and athleticism I was able to develop both at my own pace. Coach Wade and the other instructors are true professionals who will teach you what they know as well as prove themselves on the mat as well. Don't expect to learn impractical skills because you aren't gonna waste your time here with that. The coaches, as well as the people who train here won't bully you and show off, they will give you opportunities to learn and develop you, you will not find a better gym for any level of skill whether you are experienced or brand new, whether you are young or old. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to train here and learn from the years of hard work that the coaches have went through on the mats that translated into instruction. My time there had taught me many skills as well as instilling confidence in myself. Going to Control introduced me to a great community of people who were always helpful and welcoming. I truly believe that everyone who attends is valued and brings something to the team. You will learn how to improve every day you get on the mats here."
